In the swim or on the road,
AA Radio and Tait are working out together
AA Radio Services and Tait Electronics Australia have been building on an already strong relationship by working together to provide Two Way Radio systems to industries which demand a reliable and tough handset, with applications ranging from Aquatic Centre’s to construction and road maintenance.
The City of Kingston has chosen the Tait TP8115 handsets for their two large aquatic complexes, Waves Leisure Centre and the Don Tatnell Centre. This is due to the rugged build, waterproof rating and high quality audio output. Of course, the waterproof rating of IP67 is of very high importance in such a wet environment, but also just as high on the list of requirements was superior audio quality due to the high noise levels reached in the complex that caters for many hundreds of people at any one time. The clearer audio is delivered by the way of the Tait Automatic Noise Reduction technology, which reduces background hiss and noise, meaning clearer communications and improved voice clarity.
The Waves Leisure Centre also wanted the ease of mind and fleet management offered by the Tait Lease Finance plan for the Tait TP8115 handsets, which provides for a known operating cost for the radios and includes all repairs and even extends to the replacement of stolen, lost or damaged radios as part of the agreement.
With regard to the design of the radios for rugged performance under the most arduous conditions, the road maintenance contractors, AJ Williams Group, have been happily using the Tait TP8100 Series radio without a fault and chose the handset above all others because of its impressive ruggedness. One of the reasons the TP8100 is so rugged is the design and build using specialised molding techniques to fuse a synthetic rubber armour with plastic, leading to improved shock proofing and better grip. The TP8100’s toughened rubber armour corners and control knobs help protect the radio from accidental damage, lengthening the life of the radio and lowering the cost of ownership. In an industry where radio performance and reliability equates to efficiency and safety, the TP8100 radios have been proven to meet the challenges.
