TETRA World Congress – May 21-24 – Paris

During the last 14 years the TETRA World Congress (TWC) has developed to become the annual meeting place for TETRA Users, Operators, Distributors and Manufacturers from around the world. This year, the Congress returns as Critical Communications World.

The event will incorporate many of the key elements that you would expect from TWC, particularly showcasing the latest TETRA user case studies and innovations.

Many users are also looking to see how they can take advantage of future mobile broadband technologies; so this year the scope had been broadened at the conference and exhibition to explore critical broadband technologies and solutions. The conference will examine how potential mobile broadband technologies (specifically LTE) can be combined with TETRA to meet the future voice and data requirements of critical communications Users.

Mission critical mobile broadband is the next big step for our industry. Today, users are looking to the future and asking how to access mobile broadband services and applications, alongside their secure and reliable radio services. This is true not only for users of TETRA, but also of TETRAPOL, P25, and other technologies.

Building on the success of last year’s event in Dubai, (the largest in TWC’s history) it is anticipated the attendance will be 4000+!

AA Radio supports 2013 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships

The 2013 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships or ‘The Aussies’ as it is affectionately known, is currently on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

It is the largest sporting event of its type in the world, with over 8,500 competitors converging on one beach to compete for national glory.

Off the beach, Surf Life Saving invites their corporate supporters to participate in the annual Aussies Corporate Golf Day, a fundraising event that will raise vital funds for lifesaving services Australia wide.

AA Radio is proud to support the 2013 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships and participate in the Aussies Corporate Golf Day on 19 April 2013.
