AA Radio is once again pleased to support the largest event on the Australian radio communications calendar; RadioComms Connect.
Over 80 companies are expected to take part in the 2012 exhibition, including all of the leading manufacturers and suppliers here in Australia.
From test and measurement to SCADA, from digital radio to antenna solutions, 2012’s event is likely to be the largest event dedicated to radio communications and its associated products, services and technologies the country has seen to date.
AA Radio are pleased to announce our involvement yet again this year as Exhibition Hall Lounge Sponsor. Located in the main exhibition hall, the open plan lounges are for all delegates, exhibitors and visitors to enjoy.
We are also please to confirm AA Radio’s Nigel Slater will be one of the Speakers at this years event.
‘Looking back through the looking glass at ourselves; the digital battle.’ Since the release of the first digital two-way radio technology during the 1990s, the radio communications industry has been spruiking the value and benefits of digital radio technology. There’s no doubt that new technology such as this can revitalise an industry as we have seen, but what are the ramifications for the purchasers, users, managers and owners of radio systems who are confronted with multiple open standards, proprietary open standards and proprietary standards?
Nigel’s presentation takes a slightly tongue-in-cheek look at the battle of the technologies from the sales and user end of the industry spectrum.
Presentation time: 2:30pm – 3:00pm
Presentation date: Tuesday 4th December 2012
