Have you Narrow Banded?
ACMA, the Federal Government authority for radio communications, has mandated that 400 MHz band radio channel licences are narrow banded by 31st December 2012.
Narrow banding is the process of changing licence conditions and the physical operating bandwidth of radio equipment from 25 KHz channels to 12.5 KHz channels.
If you operate radio equipment in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle or Adelaide, your licences must be narrow banded by 31st December 2012.
Members of the AA Radio team have worked for the government authority and are qualified and experienced in understanding the ‘real’ requirements of the changes and are able to simplify the issue for the end users.
AA Radio have successfully completed several narrow banding projects with additional projects pre-booked leading up to the December deadline.
It is surprising how many businesses and organisations are leaving this to the last minute!
